Best Wedding Photography of 2025
2025 has been another incredible year of wedding photography, not to mention all the other amazing projects I’ve had the pleasure of working on. From cookbooks to cocktails to conferences; it’s been a ride.
One of the most standout features of 2025 has been the number of couples who have requested their wedding photography remain private. I would never want to break anyone’s trust, so those images stay personal. That makes this year’s “best of” a little less varied, but I think it’s going to be nice to showcase a smaller number of photos, it means you can linger on the individual shots a little bit longer.
Other notable trends have been for sunset shots (never going to complain about that one - time to shine!), elopements, beaches, and espresso martinis. All of these are good things, and please do feel free to bribe me with martinis of any variety.
Without further preamble then, please enjoy taking in these beautiful wedding photos from the past 12 months.
Candid and Evening Photographs
You know I’m going to say it: still my favourite. The unposed images are, for me, always the best. The raw, the unscripted, the truth of the day. It’s special! As a reportage photographer, these photographs will always mean the most to me.
Portrait Photos
It turns out that I really liked showcasing my portraits collection in position one last year, but for 2025 the candid images were too good not to put at the start. It was a tough call because this year’s portraits are, in my opinion, really quite special. I think it’s the colours that make this section stand out so much.
Ceremony Photos
Let’s face it, the ceremony is the whole reason that the day is happening. The declaration of love between the two of you. Promises, rings, tears, it’s the big moment! This year’s ceremonies have been low key and elegant. I have loved every last one.
Details and Scenery
Because you need to remember all the little parts that made up your wedding day. From the backdrop to the weather, to the flowers, the centrepieces, the buttonholes and even the pictures that you carried in your locket. When you look back on your big day in years to come, you want to remember it all.
I hope you enjoyed looking through this collection of some of my favourite and best wedding photography from 2025. From tiny details to big moments, it’s all in there.
