Wedding Photography
I’m Erika and I’ve been a full time wedding photographer since 2012. My style focuses on luxury, colour and mood — ideal for couples planning relaxed, elegant weddings, from intimate micro weddings (prices starting at £500) to half-day weddings (£995) to full-day celebrations (£1595).
Where I Photograph Weddings
I photograph weddings across some of the regions most sought-after locations, from elegant country houses to dramatic coastal venues and historic castles. Explore my dedicated pages below to learn more about wedding photography in each region.
My Wedding Photography Style
My wedding photography style is all about 3 concepts: Natural. Timeless. Storytelling.
Together, they create relaxed, elegant wedding photography that allows you to enjoy your day while I quietly capture the moments that matter.
Natural
This approach is ideal for couples who want to spend time with their guests, not posing for hours, and who value genuine moments over stiff, staged images. I blend into your day photographing as it unfolds, allowing you to have the magical wedding you’ve been dreaming of. Posed pics are great, but they aren’t where the “true gold” of photography is.
Timeless
As the years pass trends change. Timeless wedding photography exceeds the barriers of time, becomes classic and enduring. This is done using a stylised blend of composition, creativity and mood.
Storytelling
From morning preparations to the final dance, your images come together as a complete visual story of your wedding day — not just a collection of highlights. They tell the story of your day
How to Choose your Perfect Wedding Photographer
With a wide range of photographers to choose from, how do you choose the right one?
A great way of ensuring your wedding photographer is the right fit for you is to find out as much about them as you can.
So what to check?
Firstly, do they cover your area?
Do they have a varied, high-quality portfolio and a wedding photography style that matches how you envision your day?
Is the photographer’s personality one you can work with?

Do their prices fit your budget?
Do their reviews provide a sense of security and trust?
Do your homework: check Google & Hitched to make sure great reviews across the board.
Once you’ve answered those questions, you’re ready to pick the right wedding photographer for you.
My Wedding Photography Experience
I photographed my first wedding as a favour to a friend, and after that I got the bug. I worked hard, improved my craft, and went full time in 2012. I’ve never looked back.
The thing with weddings is that you only get one shot at it. The moment is there and then it’s gone. There are no instant replays. That’s where I thrive: up on the high wire with no safety net.
Well, that sounds good, but it isn’t strictly true. There is a safety net, and it’s prosaically known as planning. So your wedding photography journey goes a little like this:
Enquire
You’ve found my wedding portfolio and you love what you see so you want to book. The first step is to contact me to check that your wedding day is still available.
Consultation
When you book you won’t have your full timings, but you will know what you want from your photographs. A chat is a great opportunity to check we’re a good fit, answer your questions, go over paperwork, and for you to tell me all about your dream day.
Planning
About 2 months before your wedding day I’ll get in touch to start the planning in earnest. You tell me your timings and who you want in your groups, and I’ll send you info on how we make that as seamless, stress free, and fun as possible. Don’t worry, I have quick proformas to guide you.
Wedding Day
You enjoy the day you’ve been dreaming of and I will be exactly where you need me to be. Thanks to all the preparations we’ve done in advance everything runs beautifully.
Delivery
You can expect your photographs 6-10 weeks after the big day. You receive all your images professionally retouched in a personal gallery, and on USB. Prints, albums and wall art can all be added on afterwards and can be purchased directly through your gallery.

So, what makes me tick?
I love the outdoors. If there’s ever a weekend where I’m not shooting a wedding, you’ll find me half way up a mountain, or traipsing through one of the many beautiful woodlands or beaches the region has to offer.
On quieter days I love a good book. I enjoy a variety of genres, everything from fantasy to Scandi noir, Edwardian tales of the weird to dark futurism, fantastical realism, and horror. I adore horror movies too, especially the bad ones! You know the terribly acted ones where they’re just as funny as horrific? Rubber monsters are a bonus.
I also have an army of free range chickens in my back garden who sneak into the kitchen on occasion for treats. Did I say ‘on occasion’? I meant all the time. They are like pampered royalty, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Pictures of said chickens, in an array of cute poses, available on request :p
If you have any queries or would like to book me as your wedding photographer don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d love to hear from you!
